Gennaro Sferra opened a factory in Venice Italy in 1905 to create hand made lace and embroideries. Sferra sheets has since earned a reputation for having the most luxurious linens and bedding in the world.  Sferra sheets and linens have been used in the Vatican and the Whitehouse.


  While  Sferra sheets are on the cutting edge of the latest in luxury bedding, Sferra has managed to maintain a certain "Old World" appeal.  The Sferra sheets and pillowcases feature many special touches such as hand embroidery and hemstitching, both reminiscent of a simpler time.

Sferra Brielle is a jacquard woven damask collection in 1020 thread count Egyptian cotton. The Sferra Brielle shams include flanged edges and a hemstitched finish. Sferra Brielle coordinates with the Sferra Milos and the Sferra millesimo collection.


Sferra Milos Sheets have been referred to as the most luxurious sheets in the world. Sferra Milos, woven in 1020 thread count long staple Egyptian cotton sateen are known for their softness. "The Milos almost has the feeling of silk, but has the practicality of 100% cotton," claims Julian Wilson, an Atlanta based interior design consultant. "We use it for everything."


Sferra Alistair is another popular design. The Sferra Alistair 1020 thread count collection features an intricate, almost delicate jacquard weave paisley design combined with a hemstitched finish. The Alistair Collection has a traditional appeal, but seems equally at home in contemporary settings. As Wilson insisted, "Exquisite design has no expiration date."


Sferra Baronessa and Sferra Colette are also part of the Sferra 1020 Sheet collection. The jacquard weave designs on 1020 thread count Egyptian cotton have become classics. "The beauty of Sferra is the ability to mix and match all of these incredible designs and textures into my own mosaic of creativity," said Wilson.
